Our first event of the year and hopefully bigger and better than ever. There are a few changes this year so please note the following:-

  • Tents and caravans welcome on Friday and Saturday nights.
  • Night flying available on these nights BUT electric only.
  • Proof of BMFA insurance essential to fly, if you can't prove it, you won't be allowed to fly. BMFA insurance only accepted.
  • Transmitter control opens at 09.30 on each day, flying from 10.00, £4.00 per day.
  • Refreshments available during flying hours.
  • Raffle and trophies for various categories.
  • One flying pitch for learners flyers only, so please fly with us whatever your skill level.
  • No fixed wing aircraft.
There is a new entrance to the field now, please follow the signs and no cars on the flight line. You will be directed where to park, please help us make this an enjoyable day for everyone.

Always a very interesting day combining the skill of flying with the commitment of serious model building. The helicopters are amazing, the pilots friendly and the detail incredible. Trophies for the best heli, best flight plus raffle and refreshments. No aeroplanes or pod and boom, scale helicopters only please.

Proof of BMFA insurance required, you cannot fly without it. A small charge for TX control, which opens at 09.30, flying from 10.00 until early evening.
