Well our first flyin for 2011 is over! It was abit wet and definately windy but still a good success. More details, photos, list of sponsors to follow.
2nd May
Well the weather has been great for the last few weeks. Our first flyin for 2011 is in a couple of weeks (14/15 May). Next weekend (7/8 May) will be a club working weekend getting ready for the flyin. The more club members we can get to help the less work for everybody!!
18th January
Club Training is now open for those wishing to partake. It has been decided to postpone 'Club Training Days' until the general weather improves, when it will make it more worthwhile holding all-day events.
Until the Club Training Day's commence all lessons will be on an 'ad hoc' basis.

Park Hall Helicopter Club are delighted to announce we will be holding three events again in 2011:-
14th & 15th May 2011 - Two Day Pod & Boom.
2nd & 3rd July 2011 - Park Hall 3D Cup.
4th Sept 2011 - One Day Scale day.
More details will be published on our website in the next few weeks, but please put these dates in your diary. We look forward to your continued support.

**** Coming Soon: Park Hall Helicopter Club Flight Training School ****
Conceived to allow members to fulfill their flying potential and reach their own personal goals in the hobby (whether that be conquering nose-in and all the way upto Advanced 3D Competition level flying!) , a new Club Flight Training School is being established.
The flight training school will consist of monthly club training days/weekends, including one-to-one buddy box flights, personalised flight training programmes and all round general training guidance/support.
There will be a fee for this programme but hopefully for members the benefits will far outway the costs. Why travel miles and miles to a 'Flight Training School' when you can learn within the comfort of your own club surroundings?

Park Hall Pod & Boom Two Day Helicopter Fly-In, 8th & 9th May 2010.
Our first event of the year and hopefully bigger and better than ever. There are a few changes this year so please note the following:-
- Tents and caravans welcome on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Night flying available on these nights BUT electric only.
- Proof of BMFA insurance essential to fly, if you can't prove it, you won't be allowed to fly. BMFA insurance only accepted.
- Transmitter control opens at 09.30 on each day, flying from 10.00, £4.00 per day.
- Refreshments available during flying hours.
- Raffle and trophies for various categories.
- One flying pitch for learners flyers only, so please fly with us whatever your skill level.
- No fixed wing aircraft.
